Learning Center Site Administrator

The Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12 is one of 29 Intermediate Units throughout Pennsylvania delivering effective, cost-efficient, educational, technical and business services on a regional basis. The LIU is a regional education service agency serving public school districts, nonpublic schools, charter schools, and the communities of 25 school districts in Adams, Franklin, and York Counties. Based in south central Pennsylvania, we provide a vast array of educational services with a mission of empowering our customers to solve their most challenging problems that impact learning and quality of life. Our Special Education division includes programs in Preschool, Blind/Visually Impaired Support, Deaf/Hard of Hearing Support, Autistic Support, Multiple Disabilities Support, Intensive Learning Support, Life Skills Support, Emotional Support, and more.

Program: Special Education

Description: Plan, operate and evaluate special programs in accordance with the Commonwealth’s Special Education Plan for children whose exceptionalities are set forth in Pennsylvania Special Education Specific Standards and lead activities to sustain a positive learning environment within the Learning Center.

Qualifications

  • Position requires Pennsylvania certification as Principal K-12
  • Master’s degree in Education required
  • Successful classroom teaching experience required
  • Minimum of 5 years of job-related administrative experience required
  • Successful experience in customer relations
  • Experience in Special Education preferred

Terms of Employment: Full-time, 260 days Salary Act 93 contract
